I think websites like serebii.net or bulbapedia.net are a better source of Pokémon information!

I think that I was bestowed the first edition of Scholastic's Official Pokémon Handbook back in high school (I forgot exactly when). These handbooks are a product of their time, and they may contain some goofs and errors like the ones that are listed in Bulbapedia's article of this particular handbook.

Then again, these handbooks are often superseded by Player's Guides for various Pokémon games (including complete Pokédex guides), and those are superseded by various Pokémon fan and help sites just like the ones Tiger has mentioned.
