Nintendo has been quietly working on a Game Boy Advance emulator for an unknown amount of time, and the files have leaked online. The leak occurred on 4chan, where an anonymous user uploaded a compressed file that contained Switch-compatible files with what appear to be brand new emulators for both the original Game Boy and the Game Boy Advance. The GBA emulator is reportedly called Sloop, while the original Game Boy emulator is called Hiyoko. Based on the emulators currently available on Nintendo Switch Online, the names are likely development names that will never be used in fully released programs.
