Favourite NES Games?

Since I've been seeing topics for fave games for other Nintendo consoles, I may as well make one for the original NES.

Of any of the games I currently have, here's some of my faves or at least the ones I remember enjoying on the original NES:

Super Mario Bros. 3 (though I also do respect and enjoy the first Super Mario Bros. as well)
Blaster Master
Journey to Silius
Ufouria: The Saga (the one game I own on the Wii U Virtual Console, I would like to get an actual Game Pak of it at some point)
Super Spy Hunter
Balloon Fight
Clu Clu Land
Pin-Bot
Snake Rattle 'n Roll
Mendel Palace
Fire 'N Ice (AKA: Solomon's Key 2, despite the game being a prequel to the first Solomon's Key)
Adventures of Lolo series (mainly the first one, need to get around playing through 2 and 3)
Kirby's Adventure
Mega Man 2 and 3 (I don't own individual Game Paks for the original Mega Man nor 4, 5, and 6 but do have access to them via both the Anniversary Collection and Legacy Collection)
Vice: Project Doom
Shatterhand
Whomp 'Em
Wizards and Warriors (the first one, I haven't got around to playing through the sequels at their fullest yet)
Wario's Woods

...among others too, this is just a partial list of NES games I've enjoyed.

I really like Balloon Fight! But there are so many others, I couldn't really tell you! At least not now!

I was also really addicted on Balloon Fight when I first got my copy. It's been a while since I've actively played, but I remember making it to as high as Stage 45 on Balloon Fight, but that was back in 2009 so my memory may be a wee bit fuzzy there.

I used to remember bringing up the name Balloon Fight to a person who wasn't deep into video games and he thought it had to do with water balloon fights. Closest game on the NES or Famicom I can think of with water balloon fights would be Keroppi to Keroriinu no Splash Bomb!, but that's more of a Bomberman clone with Kero Kero Keroppi branding and has you extinguishing fires in conjunction with defeating enemies with water balloon bombs.
