What do you think about Coronavirus?

I feel everyone is overreacting about it! The reason everyone is making such a big deal about it is because it is something we have never really seen before! Same thing with Swine Flu in the USA around 10 years ago! I don't think it should ignored under any circumstances though! They are just making it out to be more serious that it really seems to be! Just don't spread it, and those who have a good immune system shouldn't have much to worry about! The flu is MUCH worse than coronavirus seems to be, and don't even get me started with Bird Flu! Bird Flu will kill easily!

I'm worried. Any new virus is a serious threat, and should be treated as such. Deaths are just racking up.

As an introverted individual, I have been social distancing years before the term was coined into the public. I personally am not concerned about the virus, but I'm still not letting my guard down either way.

I know the virus has since then gotten worse in some parts of the world (southern and western USA, Brazil, India, South Africa among others), but the worst is only over if people play smart regarding and towards the virus. Since other forms of Coronavirus weren't seasonal, I doubt COVID-19 will be seasonal. It may work in conjunction with the usual flu, but we'll have to wait and see on future developments regarding COVID-19.

To everyone here as well as all my friends from other states and countries, I hope everyone's safe, healthy and alright, and I wish all of you good health wherever you may be.

Hopefully by the end of the year, a vaccine will become widely available, and thus end our perpetual Shelter-in-home! I don't go out very often at all, so I am not fazed by the shelter-in-home best practice! Where I am from, we don't have a shelter-in-home in place, so common sense will be our guide!
