Console vs Handheld?

I have 0 preference over either. Do you have any yourself and why do you prefer one over the other? I'm seeing no differences at all in either of them TBH as I play both and I love both of them.

Primarily a console gamer here, but I do too enjoy handhelds just as much. It's harder to replace faulty controllers or controller parts on a handheld without turning it in to the manufacturer than on a home console controller (or even a hybrid one). You don't necessarily need to get two or more of the same console for multiplayer either, the costs can add up especially for legacy handheld consoles.

Before I was in High School, I played nothing but handheld games! I have never owned one prior to reaching the 10th grade (or around that time)! My first console was the Nintendo 64!
