Voted for Mario Kart Wii since I've had fond memories of playing the near heck out of it back in my high school years, unlocking nearly everything (all but Mii Outfit B) and beating all the ghost trials. I do enjoy me Mario Kart 8 (and Deluxe) as well, but my Mario Kart skills are out of practice in contrast to back in the late 2000s.

One day I'll get that drive again to power through games like I did in my high school years.

The two I played the most were Double Dash!! and Mario Kart 7. Very different games but 7 I like for its online play and DD for its karts and local play. Funny Waluigi isn't in MK7 but I think people prefer using a Mii that looks like him or Diddy, both of whom were in the Medium weight class in DD.
