What are the scariest Mario games?

In your opinion, mine are Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, and Super Paper Mario.

I remember paper mario having a really frightening ghost like chapter.

That doesn't make it the scariest really if just one or two things in it are scary! unless that's the only thing.

Hotel Mario? Most Mario games aren't scary! Oh yeah, two of the things that many players (excluding myself) find to be the scariest Mario things both come from Super Mario 64: The monster Piano in Big Boo's Haunt, and the Eel from Jolly Roger's Bay! Do these make Mario 64 the scariest Mario game? Probably not! But they scared lots of players! The only thing that could qualify as the scariest Mario games are the Luigi's Mansion games, cause you know... da' oversized cotton balls they call Boos (and those other ghosts)? Even if they are Luigi, they take place in the Mario universe, so they MUST count! I say they count! As the SOLE 'DICTATOR' of the forums, I declare that the Luigi's Mansion games are considered Mario games, and thus are the SCARIEST Mario games in existence! If you don't like it, ...I guess I lose!
