Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel name revealed, now set for May 2023 release

The anticipated sequel to the acclaimed launch title for the Nintendo Switch and the last first-party Nintendo game on the Wii U The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild gets its name revealed after a bit over a year after its initial announcement. This sequel to the open world action adventure from 2017 will see a release on May 12th of 2023. The latest trailer from the September 2022 Nintendo Direct is below:

Game was briefly listed as a $70 game then Nintendo Removed it.

Now it's confirmed by Nintendo it's indeed a $70 game.

When asked if $69.99 will become the standard price point for first-party Nintendo games, a spokesperson for Nintendo told Polygon via email, “No. We determine the suggested retail price for any Nintendo product on a case-by-case basis.”
