Pikmin 3 (Wii U)

Snagged all 66 fruits and beaten the living daylights out of Plasm Wraith, who was one heck of a final boss fight, just in time for Pikmin 4 later this week. Only 44 casualties for my first full playthrough, and I'll aim for less whenever I get to the Deluxe Switch version of the game.

Pokémon Puffy Pink (a Pokémon FireRed ROM hack that replaces the original 151 Pokémon with Kirby characters and enemies) in a Hardcore Randomizer Nuzlocke.

Barallus the Crobat (named after the Korbat opponent from Cellblock (Gomoku/Connect Five game) on Neopets) (RIP, died due to a Counter from a Wynaut)
Atomic Boo the Tedhaun (Atomic Boo is another name for the Big Boo enemy from the Super Mario franchise) (actually transgender, originally caught as a female Cleffa but became male upon evolving into Caper (replaces Clefairy in this hack))
C. Peepers the Shiny King Doo (named after Commander Peepers from Wander Over Yonder)
Blackout the Dark Matter Blade

EDIT 1/24/2024: Beaten the hack again on a regular playthrough with a completed Kanto Pokédex before beating the Elite Four and Champion.

No, the Pokedex completion diploma has not been changed to feature Kirby characters and enemies. That was something I was curious on since the one person that did a Complete Pokédex Run of Pokémon Puffy Pink didn't claim their diploma.

Also, the Sevii Islands are inaccessible without hacking or cheating.

Kirby's Dream Buffet

I finally managed to catch this game on sale after almost a year and a half since its release. All 256 Character Treats collected, reached Max Gourmet Rank of 135 and all rewards acquired. Getting Max Gourmet Rank wasn't easy, I had to resort to online play to rank up faster. The online play can get from crazy to outright insane as you as you claw up towards the ranks (at least 17,000 or so to my experience) to the point where you encounter people who know most/all of the race shortcuts and their stuff in general.

What I have to say about Kirby's Dream Buffet:
1. No pain, no weight gain (in-game of course).
2. If you're seeking online matches, you may as well be a glutton for punishment.
3. The Kirby, Whispy Woods, Magolor, and Elfilin cakes from this game need to be made real if they haven't yet.

Kraken Odyssey

Another 3D platformer game that's quite above average to my tastes. This game feels like it's built around speedrunning knowing the max time requirements for getting gold medals in every stage. Later levels and the tasks required to get every star in those levels can get difficult as you progress through them.

The final level in this game is insane with all the hazards and stuff coming to get at you, especially if you're going for gold in that level. Took me a hundred and so tries to get it right.

I would have given it a 7 out of 10, but since there's a game crashing bug when you enter Level 31 if it's not the first level you enter in any given game session (at least in the Switch version, don't know if any other versions have it), I'm giving it a 6.5 out of 10. This is also a pain if you want to restart that level if you screw up trying to get a gold medal there. If the guys who worked on this game iron the bugs out, I'll bring it back to 7 out of 10.

An octopus or kraken or whatever cephalopod species Voulpy is based off of is an unusual pick for a protagonist for a speed-based platformer. They're more faster in water than on land for all I care. Ironically however, Voulpy can't swim in this game despite being based off of an undersea creature.

I still need to do every challenge stage and unlock every costume but crafting material spawns for all of the 2 star and 3 star costumes are much rarer than I thought.

I had to make a patch myself for obvious reasons and since every link to the patch of this hack I've come across are old and expired. Anyways, here you are.
Originally hacked by VideoGamerPat back in June of 2010. The hack is dated though and features Mario characters up until Super Mario Galaxy 2, which was the latest Mario game at the time.
