This is my personal favourite gaming company of all-time ever. Since 8 years old, I’ve been a fan of it.

Sorry, but a company who is shutting down harmless fan projects, hindering video game preservation, making very bad business decisions, not doing what their consumer base and fans are telling them to do, being extremely anti-consumer, and Lyn knows what, (go watch https://www.youtube.com/@SomeOrdinaryGamers and you'll get plenty of ideas) is not a good company...

We've branded Nintendo as traitors after all they've been doing these past few years... :tigMad

They continue to fall deeper and deeper into depravity and showing NO signs of stopping... :tigDown

Nintendo sold their souls to the devil, and I have very little hope in a company I once looked up to... :tigSad

While Nintendo is a great developer, as a company, they stink and rot worse than a giant mountain of raw, decomposing sewage crap! :tigDefeat

I'm with Tiger on whether I love Nintendo or not.

Games? Yes, but not as much as I used to years ago.
As a company? Not so much. I'm just disappointed in them because of all of their more recent actions. Displays of behaviour like those will make the next big video game industry crash happen sooner rather than later.

I'll always support Nintendo, even if they don't drop the price of first party games. Though they are making me mad by holding out on the next system.

Likewise, I'll continue to buy their games, but not out of the goodness of my heart! I'm not doing it for them! I'm doing it for myself! I'll still download older games regardless of whether they're on Switch Online or not!

I do like Nintendo for their products. I mean all corporate gaming businesses have rough ways that people don't like. However, these modern consoles have to compete with themselves and the retro market. It would be great if Nintendo made games for old consoles again. It would be great if they supported competitive Melee and fan projects. It would be great if Nintendo Switch Online wasn't a subscription service. Compared to PlayStation and Xbox, Nintendo isn't the main console for a few live service games. Nintendo isn't the latest and greatest with subscriptions for modern games. Down inside I have to agree. I hate seeing Melee be as big as it was with for-profit competitions. I think Nintendo fan projects should at least deserve an official platform to share on Nintendo consoles. Nintendo Switch Online is good for a paid demo or bundle with playing modern games online. However, the games that you can play on NSO can be emulated as a demo and paid for in retro stores. Having a fee to play games online and maintain servers with those allocated funds is cheap but builds up over time. But at the end of the day, if I want to play games online, I would prefer supported fan servers for Nintendo DS, Wii, Wii U, and 3DS, and I grew up with these consoles and games that I still have loyalty to.
